The Story Behind the YVON

In the context of a luxury hair studio, visual identity plays a key role in shaping perception, positioning, and trust. For YVON Munich, the logo was developed to reflect a brand rooted in sophistication, precision, and contemporary elegance. The aim was to create an identity that feels refined and confident while remaining clear, timeless, and highly adaptable across touchpoints.

The typographic direction is based on Montserrat, chosen for its balanced geometric structure and clean contemporary presence. Its precise forms support a sense of professionalism and control, while its simplicity keeps the brand visually modern and accessible. The circular “O” acts as a subtle distinctive element within the logo, introducing a sense of harmony, perfection, and attention to detail — qualities that closely reflect the studio’s approach to styling and service.

The monochrome palette reinforces this positioning by keeping the identity minimal, versatile, and premium. Rather than relying on decorative signals of luxury, the brand language communicates confidence through restraint, clarity, and consistency. The result is a
visual identity designed to appeal to a discerning audience while establishing YVON Munich as a modern luxury brand with a strong
and recognisable presence.
